@Serelanordir so skipping chapters of any series and just posting the ending to gain attention is okay? ignoring all the work that others scanlations have put it in that manga is just ok for you? this is the type of stuff that should be banned in every website and btw, bato'to did used to bann all the retards that came out with stuff like that, mangadex admins just seem to be lazy af |

the user had a choice to read or do not read it but on your case , You had a Choice , but you just continue reading it and right after that all of sudden you complain about the chapter sniping and blaming the scanlator and MangaDex let me remind you again , you had a choice to Read or not to Read , and you can check the Manga Chapter first just by clicking the Manga Name either from mainpage or Follow page , but nooooooo , you just ignore it and keep reading it and Not Stopping what so ever , who's fault is that ? YOU - who's idiocy is that ? YOU and then you just blaming it to the MD and Scanlator on later process and you also reading the chapter for free on this Website and yet you complain about it you are just that Type of Person , that want something for free or getting something for free , but Complaining about it when / if not suit your taste @Jyroux Last edited 7 mo ago by Serelanordir. |

@SteamedBunInvasion Is it true that you will stop the translation of Nyanko Days ? :( It's a sad news because I think many people like this serie (cute and funny) and want to see all the story... |

Garbage-tier translators with a tenuous grasp of the English language. Avoid all of their releases. |

@SteamedBunInvasion So you were doing this as well as trolling the suggestions thread? Let's double it to two months. You're either going to follow the rules or end up permanently comment banned. |

How about banning his uploads instead? |

@Tarage We have not reached that point yet. Refer to this post: https://mangadex.threeproxy.net/thread/171010/2/#post_1093754 We did come up with a solution that doesn't involve policing scanlation. Now, even if the title is in a user's follows list, they are warned that there is a gap like so: ![]() This will take a lot of the sting out of releases that are posted far ahead of what the average reader expects to see in their follows updates. To quote from the most recent announcement thread: The reader has had a feature to warn the user when there is a content gap between the chapter they've selected and the previous chapter. Previously, this warning did not trigger if the chapter was opened directly, but the reader has now been updated to do so. This means that if a group happens to upload a chapter much further than the previous scanlation group, it will help avoid accidentally spoiling the chapter for the user who may not remember where they are in the series. Note that this requires the reader settings option called "Warn about chapter gaps" to be enabled, so you might want to check if it is, though it should be on by default. Also refer to this post: https://mangadex.threeproxy.net/thread/171010/3/#post_1094093 We are very much against the idea of us policing scanlation. Staff believe that it is not our place to do so with the exception of certain situations. We try to give users a wide variety of tools to avoid this sort of situation. So long as someone puts an effort into translating and it's not super obvious that the release is a troll, we operate under the assumption that the release is legitimate. Now personally, and I want to stress the *personal* part, I believe that what this uploader is doing is a complete dick move. It's clearly done to troll readers and groups. It looks pretty obvious to me when you look at his upload history. He moves on once the entertainment value is gone. My advice to you, if you and others feel strongly about this situation, is to create a thread in the suggestion forum about expanding our current rules or releasing a new rule to deal with this situation. The louder you are about it, the more likely you will be to get an official response. |
