if the translator is seeing this, thanks for your hard work and hope you'll be able to translate more of this story in a shorter period of time but that's coming for a guy that can't fully understand the different slang of english from around the world.

From context of the manga, seems to be you're officially a magician once you contract a Spirit. Glass' narration mentions that under normal circumstances, the Academy Students get their contracted spirit at age 15 and then have 5 years to find a career, whether that means the military or honing things while at the Academy.

So seems likely that Glass couldn't become a Magic Warrior after he contracted with the -super- unimportant and minor spirit of 'Plants' (sarcasm off, since 'contract with all plant life' is the sort of thing that is hilariously abusable).

How is the art good? It looks like your typical nameless shounen character designs with little else; the artist spent 99% of the effort on the character and the remainder on the background/pacing of the story. This literally screams "mass produced" by the rip-off nature of the story down to it's base level art. I mean, if there was a guide book called "how to create a harem manga" this would check all the boxes.

villager is too stupid 😂, btw the neck protector from captain Raquel chestplate will stab her face, the design is wrong, the protector should've been forwards not inwards

Just terrible. It's over used trope after trope. The generic harem of bro-con sister, childhood friend, the ojou-sama (princess), the man-hater, etc. The MC hides a huge power that everyone looked down on as weak. Need I go on? It's only a matter of time before he accidentally falls in the princess's panties, unintentionally walks in all of them bathing, etc. There is literally nothing that makes this stand out from any other harem and worse, it's poorly written and drawn to boot.

If the magic warriors don't require spellcasting then why not all the flops pursuit that path? Our MC could've became one and have an easy path to the military. Unless i'm missing something and flops can't become magic warriors or that they need to start their training before the pact or something

I actually think that this series seems p good so far. Only thing I haven't exactly liked is the childhood friend in chapter 3, because I'm personally not a fan of that type of gag, especially not in a manga like this. But other than that, I think there are FAR worse isekai.

    Seems fine so far honestly.
Also Jesus, rest of you commenters need to chill out. No idea why you're all so vitriolic.

I was considering give this a read, but if what you say is true. Then that kinda sucks.

It does suck, but at least the series has something going for it as a premise (although with such little content to read, it's difficult to tell if it's still worth reading) because 1.) It's not an isekai 2.) The MC seems to have to rely on his critical thinking skills and determination rather than his power (for now, anyways) and he doesn't seem like a dick.

The fact that it's tagged with harem makes me sigh and roll my eyes, but the fact that it's also tagged with medical is promising because generally an author that can't write for shit will just go "Uh, whoosh, magic. You're healed." instead of basing something on reasoning and thought.

I'd still recommend checking it out. Just don't be surprised if suddenly you find yourself unable to read anymore without knowing Japanese or painstakingly translating and editing/conjecturing with Google Translate (and as I've learned, even that is not enough due to slang, dialects and cultural clues that authors use that we outside of Japan simply don't pick up on).
