Even though that seven seas just announced the licensed acquisition, the first volume won't be out until May and even then (based on a 2 month cycle between each volume) by the time vol 1 comes out the scans will be way ahead like a good 4 or 5 vols.
Though I do want to know what are large trim size cuts for books? Like is it the same as Blame and Knights of Sidonia with the extra vertical height?

The numbering matches the artist's sources (pixiv, etc.), so it's not a problem. It was just weird and I couldn't understand how the count could have gone down without chapters being removed or something. As azraei97 pointed out, it seems some chapters were just "extras"

@SilentDan It could be worse, you could have invested 100+ 20-page chapters into rental girlfriend, or 200+ chapters into komi-san

I did not make any change to the numbering. I don't know who did it, but I don't care enough to put it back. You can fix it if you want.

This is a fun read, but the plot is to fucking slow. We're almost 90 chapters in, and there's zero progress.

Look like scanlater make change in chapter numbering. Starting chapter 57 become 56.5, 60 become 58.5 and chapter 86 changed to 83.5 (any black and white chapter become x.5)
That why numbering become like this. No removed chapter. So don't worry

@qwezda Same. I have an excel file tracking the latest chapter I've read, and 91 was the latest chapter before this new one.

Did the chapters get adjusted? I swear it said 91 a few days ago, but now the latest chapter is 88?

The problem with these types of manga are that they get old fast. You have about 30-40 chapters with the original premise before you need to start changing things dramatically. It can be one thing at a time but you need some sort of wrench in the works to keep it fresh that this frankly doesnt have.
Also, I miss the grandpa. Best character.
