Pretty sure the implication here is that the hero was unpopular in real life, so he's taking advantage of his popularity in the isekai world. He doesn't seems to actively look for girls to cheat with, but the monstergirls approach him, something he's not used to with women, so he just goes with it. This isn't meant to defend him, btw, just to explain why he cheats.
