True avengers just focus on going full edgy against their targets of revenge and nothing else, because they have the means to do it. This guy is turning into a sociopath and justifying it with his revenge. Entertaining to watch him getting corrupted by his own broken power, but it makes for a rather poor revenge story.

Oh wow, didn't expect this series to get a manga serialization.

If you manage to stomach all the rape and gore, it is one of the more satisfying revenge stories I've read. The MC is truly dedicated to his cause.

@Zephyrus The more commentators respond to something that has been censored, they more I want to see it. Even if this is a Keter-class acopalyspse-level doomsday cognito hazard, it is simply the case that I wanna see it I wanna see it I wanna see it I wanna see it! As an aside, I've seen comment threads go pages and pages about how awful and terrible rape is (while we're all on chapter 537 of rape-fest 9000 would you like a size serving of rape with that rape book 2 season 3 electric boogaloo), and then when I or someone else posts Rance the commentary goes batshit or else goes silent. I'm saying plenty of SJW people make arguments that, when interpreted as cogent (they clearly are actually the mindless insane ramblings of ninnies), clearly also violate rule 5.1, such as claiming I should be default agree with their assertions simply owing to my ethnicity (which certain personalities don't provide in internet discourse) whilst making insistent ties to their own ethnicity/whatever - that, too, is racism, but I don't bother to report them because there are hundreds of such posts, nor do I bother to bookmark them so I can provide proof because I and other mentally-sane people with properly-developed brains simply don't care - knowing, of course, we share this website probably with high school script kiddies with poor impulse control and such reports are likely to incite rather than deter spam/vandalism on comment threads.

All I'm saying is you folks should make a toggle settings here on MangaDex so that moderated posts are hidden by default but remain optionally viewable so long as they don't contain blatantly illegal stuff. I request this mainly so I can laugh at stupid people at their expense. For example, if I post "Rance" then I know it takes a person 2 clicks to get to cartoon characters raping high school girls even if I don't provide links, but if I were to reference a supreme court case where a defense lawyer person claims (as I quote verbatim) "We all know snuff films aren't real" and I post keywords (a-la "Rance" as a keyword) as a rebuttal to that assertion then that should probably be perma-censored because that shit leads to real rape death murder decapitation death (did I mention death murder rape yet) snuff films.

It's overall good, but they sure did make the MC unlikable, and not even in a clever way.
It does feel like it's about a revenge story turned into how MC is going sociopathic but the pacing for that to work is so off, it's a bit as if it's trying to do too many things at once.

There's much better ways to write sociopathic (main) characters without just pasting a standard villian role onto them.

Fun fact: there are some living species that reproducers primarily through rape, like ducks. Their dicks are specifically designed for rape! Now you know!

For a revenge fantasy where the protag had 3 people he wanted revenge on We sure have gone off the rails. I mean I thought he was motivated solely by revenge but after the first arc he's only pretended to be the Blade hero once, there's two people out there that helped create the hell he went through and it feels like he completely forgot about them to instead go on side-quests where he teaches cute girls the virtues of revenge... One was fine since it was on the way and he used it as an opportunity to try to draw out someone he did have a grudge against, but by this point it's beginning to feel more and more contrived to try to have 'revenge' forced in as the experience. The MC began with a very clear and focused goal that I could understand and appreciate from the audience, even if his power was bullshit broken, but he's slowly just become a stand in for the script to ensure that whatever story the author wants to do is accomplished.

i didn't talk about my ethics but human mentality in general after observing some humans to mental documentary to some manga so don't blame me for noticing that pretty much every country did that in order to boost their military strength and economy which by morale standard is considered to be good since it's gonna benefit the majority
because if we go by my ethics then everyone pretty much deserve to die and humanity existence is just a plague to earth either that or they archive harmony and stop being greedy and accept each other because current humanity is the worst

@me474 - Is see, so according to your ethics it is ok to keep people suffering through what you consider worse then death as long as it benefits your agenda of having high population numbers? At this point I don't see that much difference between you and a rapist, with exception that rapists probably don't believe that what they are doing to someone is worse than death, but you do and still choose to have things continue that way.

also for ordinary people we can't allow them to die for experiencing anything worse than death because than almost half humanity would be dead
some countries punish them even if they want to kill themselves

@me474 If you really think that death is better than rape because of post-rape trauma then that would imply that we should kill rape victims upon discovery, because living with a post-rape trauma is worse than death. And we don't want victims to suffer a life that is worse than death - do we?
