Really enjoying it! I'm reading it for the characters, plot, and history, but it's worth noting that the realism of swordsmanship is refreshingly better than most manga.

Very interesting samurai period drama. Follows the story of a... ghetto version of Shinsengumi. Peasants turned (disposable) warrior, dying a dog's death. Very gritty, totally the vibe of manga that will not have a happy ending.

This is one of the few series lately where I actually get emotionally entangled with the characters. So incredibly good.

Just a heads-up: this time we were a little quicker scanlating the volume. The next chapter is the last of volume 3 and it will be half a year or so until volume 4 is out.

This is quite an interesting read. I'd put it up there with Vagabond somewhat. The art is a bit unusual though. ^_^' A little more rough. But I guess as others have said, that it lends itself quite well to the story.
