Description:
The Demon King led his army of demons to wipe out the human race. The Hero, Kail, and his allies attacked the Demon King's castle to defeat the Demon King. The Demon King is slain, but at what cost? Kail lost all of his allies throughout the war. Friends, family, lovers, comrades. All dead, and he is dying.
As Kail's life ebbs away in the Demon King's chamber, he notices a strange gem that the Demon King had coveted and approaches this relic to grab it; after an intense light glows, he is sent years into the past. After recovering from the initial shock, now in his younger body, he decides to avoid making the same mistakes of his first time through these years and to become stronger.

    @BraveHeartedHero That's pretty much the assumption I made from the beginning and the further the story got along the more firmly I believed it to be true. It's sort of why I haven't read this for about a year. I didn't want to get invested in a story where

    That's all just speculation on my part as I have no idea how the story is going to turn out but if that's what happens then I'm out.

    edit: I decided to check a spoiler on the identity of the black wing demon.

    @ongeki I hope it isnt. That will make the story abit convoluted to me and one of the reasons I hate time travel stories. I loved this one because it didn't veer off into anything crazy.

    I thought this manga was pretty awesome all the way through to my current bookmark of chapter 66.2. The pacing was near perfect as it never got bogged down on the boring or unnecessary. Sure there might be something to criticize about the very little character development of the female leads, but the story is quite enjoyable. I read it nonstop through 66.2 chapters, if that says anything. I hope it continues to go this well!

    I would love to read more manga of this genre and of this quality! 😄

    ok im back again after what i started now im at chapter 15, in chapter 2 we meet his mum who is apparently one of the strongest arch mages in the world with a picture book with the time travel crystal in so what more would he have to do, what his mum wouldn't believe him and how he got a time crystal and she'd have a lot of leeway if shes an archmage super genius or something so someone would listen to her, he also now got all this gold and a talking sword of a former king which read his memories....................what am i doing with my life.
    @justnatsuki that bill gates thing makes no sense if anything id go back in time and just have a broken time machine.

    I think the point is...
    It'll be hard to convince people with just that gem that doesn't have it former power (which I guess people will think it's basically an odd shaped gem at best) and some elaborate story about the future, I guess no one will actually take it seriously especially from some countryside teenage boy.

    So in order to change the future he decided not to take that chance yet (the chance of telling people about the future and how to change it to possibly no avail) and decided maybe he should become more influential before telling this seemingly random nonsense story about the future that may or may not happen.
