I don't know which one is true, but there are two things that I'm certain. I'm eager to find out what happen in the next chapter and to see the soubutei got destroyed in the final chapter.

I'm still iffy on the Kirita sisters being possessed. Someone mentioned the possibility that they got slightly possessed when the third sister died and her eyes returned to them, which seems like a decent explanation. But I wonder if maybe the shadow in everyone's brains isn't the invaders, but a piece of Seiichi's brother? And if so, the sisters might not realize there's a difference.

It is undeniably strange that everyone aside from the sisters seemed to have those shadows on their brains. I think the whole idea that the sisters are the ones who are contaminated which is what we’re being led to believe is a red herring and there’s something more going on here

Are the twins even lying? For all we know, the others are simply not aware that the invader is inside their own bodies.

Here i'm again with another time of why the kirita's are doing ths, maybe is bc they want to protect them from going again into saboutei without enough resolve and with this takaoka intervention they all have gained the resolve necessary to get back into saboutei,
