@dabluesky spoilered cuz its a long post No and no. Im not equivocating anything (far from it actually, my post is very blunt about its contents so unless you're misunderstanding the meaning of the words you use, you're wrong) and no, I'm not complaining about males in manga so if you're gleaming that, then you're projecting your assumptions about me onto my words. Either way, not the case. Now if you wanna talk isekai and why its MCs are so often way stronger than they need to be? I'd wager a mix of wish fulfilment and because having a weak character in a new world limits the things you can do with them, and nobody wants to read a hundred mangas about farmers in new worlds. Lets talk about why you feel that way about male leads getting harems all of the time. That's because your post just screams "I only read shounen and seinen manga" and the demographic for those mangas are, you guessed it, mainly males (not to say there aren't females reading, they just aren't the target audience). Males typically identify more easily with a male protag and I'd wager the majority of them are turned off at the prospect of homosexual relations, thus forming our male MC with added harem situation. There are plenty of reverse harems out there, they're in shoujo mangas. I don't know of any specifically, I don't read very much shoujo at all but I'm told that they do exist. I'm sure there are less of them but that's probably down to the differences in things that the genders seek from their entertainment. To clarify, I'm fine with female leads but like male leads they have to be well written characters who happen to be [blank] rather than strong [blank] character. Two final things, I don't think male leads are overly scrutinised, I just made the comparison that female leads aren't scrutinised as harshly. I think they could all do with some higher standards, that way we might have some better written mangas out here. Secondly, I'd like to repeat that this isn't the place for your wish fulfilment of "I want more whamen in my mangas to be real strong n mary sue for me pls more wamen im respectable pls notice my reppect". Keep your gender politics out of here. |

Guess the main gag will be that instead of the MC being the OPest of OP, his harem becomes more OP than him. |

is this one of those novels that spend like hundreds upon hundreds of chapters with protagonist being less than 10-12yo? |

Is the regret just that she has far more talent than he does?? Otherwise, if it becomes a tragedy I'm out here. |

This manga is sort of like kenja no majo and tsuyokote new saga mixed together. Though more of new saga than anything. I'm thinking he is going to end up with an OP fighting force of friends like in kenja though. |

At least now that Tina is better with magic than he is he can focus and further specialize in melee since it would be a bit redundant of him to try and catch up to her with magic, well, at least water magic. |

@creamedice It's literally a trope that all protagonists are OP, especially in reincarnation and isekai manga. The equivocation is strong within you, isn't it? If you think that guys are being overly scrutinized, then I have to wonder what manga genre you're reading, because dudes get away with being OP and having a whole harem of girls to dick down *all the time*. Your post just screams to me, "b-but what about the *men*?!". |

@dabluesky hard for you guys to swallow that a girl *gasp* could be strong What do you even mean, have you not been reading manga for the past decade? It's literally a trope that girls are somehow ludicrously overpowered. In fact, when girls are OP people are way more likely to let it slide, when a guy is OP people dissect the characters flaws and motivations, they're put under such scrutiny but a girl? Lol new waifu. If I ever remembered the titles of mangas I read I could point you to literally hundreds but Im not going to do that. Hell, I'd actually go so far as to say that girls in current media are the strongest they've ever been, both in fictional strength and representation so you can pack up your agenda and move on kthanks. This is a manga site, not a platform for your sociopolitical views. |

tfw you think being hard working and untalented will somehow make you surpass someone who's hard working and actually talented. I know its hard for you guys to swallow that a girl *gasp* could be strong. Also implying that Tina hasn't been putting in any effort lol have we been reading the same manga? |

It's not called talent, it's called forceful plot. forceful plot obliges your childhood friend (female only) to be better than you in something instantly, no mather how much effort you put on it. She will never steal your spotlight, but as you progress through effort, she will progress equally, even if she doesn't put any effort, as seen in countless chinese manhua. It may seem unfair, but it's the price you must pay to add the Romance tag to your fantasy manga. |

Why do I get the feeling that they are both monsters compared to everyone else, I mean he is 8 and probally on par (or exceding) with an adult already, she is 10 and probally advanced or supreme level |
