@degenerateafro I know it's fiction, but no one does it in real life without expecting reprisals and if you do that in a lawless country you get killed for less than that |

@degenerateafro I kinda get what you’re saying but it’s not like they are just there to “challenge the strong” they make it pretty obvious somebody sent them there to test/crush the azure family. My whole point though is that if they had won, do you think they would have shown mercy to the MC or crush his family like they already planned to do? So why should the MC show them any mercy once they start begging for forgiveness lol It’s like somebody breaking into my house ready to murder my family and once they fail they just apologize and expect everything to be good lol ehh that’s just my opinion though. |

@Gauvain and @Chrondoz Obviously you guys have never heard of the concept of "challenging the strong". If they wanted to kill the family they would have attacked indiscriminately. Not specifically called out to the strongest people in the village and repeatedly refuse to attack a person they deemed below their strength level. But whatever, it's not really a point worth arguing. |

@degenerateafro Never said they did but they were about to kill him and his azure family after. The brothers just got unlucky his waifu happened to be there and mc was kinda trying to figure out who was backing them since they were acting so boldly, so yeah I think they still deserve to die lol |

@degenerateafro "crush his family" Do you need more details ? as much to kill is bad as much I have trouble understanding how you can defend this kind of person yes the "author/MC" will not kill them, because he needs them, but to make them appreciable he should have made them a little more appreciable from the start. |

@Chrondoz They didn't attack people indiscriminately. They specifically called out for the strongest people available and when challenged by someone who wasn't at their level they gave ample time for the person to change their mind and send someone else who was stronger out. Not exactly deserving of a death sentence IMO, but in Wuxia I guess it's not uncommon to kill people because they look funny. |

@Kayriel Indeed, it is better to have followers that are loyal to you, that respect you than those that only obey out of sheer fear. So if they join I hope it’s out of respect and not fear alone |

This is how you gain powerful followers. Make them owe you, make them WANT to spend their lives paying you back for your mercy, make yourself shine in their eyes like a god. These three are about to become subordinates of the Azure Feather Family, no doubt. |

@Hamin especially one that we have a mental link to. 😍 (Remember the fish in his spirit palace or whatever they might call it in this story? That was heavily hinting it had something to do with her considering it's status before and after he healed her.) |
