@Dantrig But its really sad that the author messed up the back story of such easy to research and famous characters like Heracles and Achilles. ever since lu bu, author twisted some of the history/mythology to be: since it's beens thousands of years since those past events, some of the modern depictions of those events is inaccurate, and sometimes gods rewrote the history to serve their own purposes like : the snake confirming that eve eating the apple, and poseidon erasing adamas from history also, surprisingly, there is a version of achilles and ambrosia: quoted from wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambrosia In one version of the story of the birth of Achilles, Thetis anoints the infant with ambrosia and passes the child through the fire to make him immortal but Peleus, appalled, stops her, leaving only his heel unimmortalised (Argonautica 4.869-879). author did do his researchLast edited 20 days ago by cgr. |

But heroes are normally humans or demi-gods, not gods |

@zdarkbrz_816 They have also had "Adam" as a combatant, and showed Satan, so this is essentially a compilation of every "religious" and "myth" based belief currently known. Granted, the focus is on the better known ones, such as Greek, Nordic myths, Cristian, Buddhist, and and couple of others. |

Yeah, Heracles will probably be brutally murdered at the end, he is the perfect hero image. |

You know, if feel weird seeing they actually using Christ birth as a reference date. Also why does Heracles need training ? |

I see... it just sounded somewhat strange to see polytheistic gods using Christ's birth as reference. |

@zdarkbrz_816 The "B.C." is actually accurate. But, the time-frame they are using puts Heracles being over millennia before the Greek Empire. |

I know that you guys are all concerned about accuracy and some shit but you guys always forget that reality can be whatever the author wants. Especially since it's the story of Gods the author use the excuse of "there is some misconception with humanity understanding of Gods origin" |

In the mythology Herakles literally strangled two snakes Hera send to kill him in the few seconds after he was born. And the author uses training arc instead ? Lame. Really lame. |

Lol, Heracles is demi-god, son of Zeus, he is strong since the birth, he is fucking a weak brat like this mamga. The author really love "training" thing. |

I didn't really expect this manga to be factual, since it is about a tournament against the gods. But its really sad that the author messed up the back story of such easy to research and famous characters like Heracles and Achilles. You can just go to the Wikipedia page to prove him wrong. The only thing that was right this chapter was that they were both Greek. |
