the weapons are unbalanced. Like, we have weather and fate control. And then we have "lol get some blood and find the location". I'm not saying this is a useless ability. In hindsight it's a pretty good power for certain situations. But relatively it's just so out of place among the others which can completely shit on the laws of physics. Unless the "drains blood" ability is supposed to be a one shot ability where even a little cut is enough to instakill? It's unclear so I guess since the others weapons are so OP we can give it the benefit of the doubt.

So, one of the tools prevents its owner from being killed, right? Doesn't that just mean that one's useless against Sansui? He doesn't kill, after all, so there's nothing for that one to act against.

How hard can it be? Take a year off and have a good "talk" with the new government. Elixir might save its owner but it can't save the entire government. What can a single president do on his own?

I agree. Moreover, Elixir might be able to protect its wielder, but can it also protect itself? Sansui has easily disarmed Eckesachs from Saiga, and Suiboku has shattered Pandora to pieces so it would hardly be surprising if Sansui found an extremely plain dealing with the 4 divine treasures.

Tbf even if Sansui can't kill em because of Elixir, he could probably still incapacitate them pretty easily. Disarming someone or knocking them unconscious is functionally the same thing from a battle standpoint.

Clearly the only options are to either destroy or steal the Elixir and then kill the head of the new government, or I guess you could try killing him over and over and over to destroy his will to live or something too.

I wonder do you need Elixer to recognize you as owner, or if you have equip it, to activate the effects of invulnerability

This arc is good because it shows how precarious the position the King is in with regards to the 4 Noble houses, Spoiler. Also to everyone who thinks the situation will be resolved by Rain renouncing her claim to the throne - Spoiler so yeah that's not an option.

didn't they say last chapter that these guys have always been raiding their kingdom, long before this new government? if so just making peace won't help, handing over the girl won't help, holding the border won't help. you need to do what the chinese did to the Xiongnu and march into their lands and absolutely destroy them, it's the only way to stop their raids permanently.
