Karellen was killed by 4d man, not balse-sun.

Not sure what exactly I was expecting from Dowman here, but I'm mostly pleased with how it turned out. Bit of a shame Karellen didn't make it, but oh well.

I think you're misunderstanding: bub wasn't necessary (they did it without 4-d powers), mingo-s and his kids did most of the work,

bub either just happened to change back to male when they are going back to earth, or bub decided to wait until he changed back before he decided to go back to earth

In cases like these, I think they're allowed at least ONE cheat to bring Karallen back, before giving up their powers. But I understand the reasoning - they've just seen how fucked things can get when a fallible mortal tries to play God, and they don't want to even risk repeating those mistakes.

Great little story though, thank you for bringing it to us!

It’s amusing to consider that after the dramatic revelation of what the Balse-sun does, that Bub actually had to sit around and wait to turn male again before he could actually revive the Earth.

@Damn_SkippyF5 While he can travel through space and carry stuff as he wishes he can't do the same through time. 4D man said he couldn't move stuff through time unless it was 4D as well in an earlier chapter. That is assuming what the 4D man said in an earlier chapter wasn't a lie.

it's not very clear, but I think the lightning he used is different from the Balse-Sun. the balse sun looks like some sort of advanced technology that 4-d man acquired through travelling through space time. but the lightning is 4-d man's personal ability: 4-d man actually needed to carry the balse sun whereas he could just one shot his lightning.

If Balse-Sun stores the state of things it destroyed and Karellen was also killed by Balse-Sun, shouldn't it be possible to restore her too?
