The weird looks were probably they didn't know whether they should help him find a pad. Cause like, usually if a dude goes into the pad and tampon aisle looking incredibly confused, the pads probably aren't for him. Best to teach them how to buy a pad and help him earn some sister/girlfriend/girl friend points

This was a bonus chapter? Damn, seems like a really big event for a side chapter. Guess the author wanted to keep the main chapters more lighthearted.
Happy to see this tackled though, I immeadiately thought after the first few chapters "First period and he'll want to be a guy again, easy". I like that Hayasaka is so good of a boyfriend/husband though that he's like "Eh nevermind it's not too bad". It's a nice excuse.
