I know everyone is pissed at shirotaki and fujiwara, but I’m pissed at Karen. Like she is being a real bitch at the moment, like she’s not even being considerate to the fact that hitsuji was just rejected and she’s already going after Fujiwara, it’s kinda messed up

This is one of those mangas where I really just want her to end up with the romantic rival who CLEARLY is more interested in and cares more about her than the obvious love interest. Please just. Let her get together with Shirotaki and let Fujiwara realize his feelings too late, don't flesh out this whole character and plotline and dynamic then have her get with bland boring dingdong whose whole personality is not having one. I know that's what's going to happen, but that's what makes it so frustrating--she'll spend more time with the rival than the entire time that the male lead gets to be in scene.

This was a weird chapter. Shirotaki doesn’t want to see her pine over Fujiwara with tears in her eyes. I think he’s chipping into his own happiness at this point to cheer her up. Fujiwara tends to do things that make Hitsuji question everything that she’s done until she’s spinning circles and it doesn’t really feel like a dreamy fit. Maybe something big will happen and Fujiwara will start accepting her and be direct, but it seems so far away. I wanted a fun date chapter, but nope.

I don't like Shirataki.

Fujiwara is cold, but he clearly has his reasons for why he rejected her. Shirataki is just an asshole. Hell, even if Fujiwara accepted her confession, Shirataki would still probably try and pursue her.

Both males are kind of awful in their own ways but at this point, I'm rooting for shirataki.
