Well It seems that this manga is being drawn with the intention of making a wish fulfilling story for the audience. Continuing to critize this monstruosity of a plot doesn't really have merit anymore.

Prince why not marry Morina for peace? Instead of killing her and causing another war.

@Pen3 are the manhwa story still take long before the ending on the novel?

Why does he want to be an emperor so bad? Does it have anything to do with his mother? Was he abused by the previous one? Did the other kingdoms killed his mother? Is it just his job? What's going on inside his head? I'm really curious. Or it was already explained and I just forgot.

His ways are scummy, but it is logical if you want to conquer, and I applaud that he doesn't make himself an exception at his "feelings-don't-matter-if-it's-for-the-empire" thing. Usually, a lot of characters (and people) like him are hypocrites and won't look at anyone's heart but their own. They'd spout how their cruel ways are logical then, suddenly do something so stupid that they could not do as there is another option while they scream "but I love her". (That makes them amusing at their own rights though.)

Still, this is too early to say since, who is to say that he wouldn't as well once he meets our heroine right? But if that day comes, I wish he'd start listening to the feelings of the people, and his own, more, take it to consideration as much as possible, and do it if the situation lets them.

Wouldnt killing her make her a martyr or sum shet and stoke the fires for rebellion XD?

@Pen3 your not talking about this story are you? A capable maid? Please be mindful of where you talk about other stories. If you're going to talk about another story in the comments section of story, please make it clear which one you are talking about. You almost gave me the wrong impression... and I'm still confused which you are talking about!

@Rover i read the entire novel, it has one of the worst ending ever and most readers agree.

I find it incredibly amusing that she is slowly being given to fulfill the hype of her people as the story goes on. I feel it'd only a matter of time before her deeds start getting attributed to who she was.

@Pen3 i think about your talking about personality and etc it's just not happen yet, u know how long manhwa usually right? i think future development will get better

at least that's my hope

thank you for your hard work!!!!

@7Lotus
i do agree with most of your points, but a small correction: this is also a fantasy, as much as the tag isn't present. i guess you meant "action" (i didnt read solo leveling, but from searches it seems like such)

Gezz, this dude. Hopefully he'll at least try to woo her.

I mean, it's definitely not perfect but I found it enjoyable. Also definitely better than A Capable Maid lol. I only read this title coz it is somewhat interesting despite the fact that the MC is stupid OP with her abilities almost right from the start. She also has had little struggle. I mean, she keeps recalling the time that she was mistreated in the Cloyan Kingdom as a princess but it's not really being portrayed in a way that the readers would really hurt from seeing her struggle. Plus, all the other stuff @givemersspls said.

@Quiescent-Rose That last question you wrote misses the point. Have you ever heard of noblesse oblige? It's a belief that the nobility both deserves special treatment and that they have an obligation to serve the public as a result. That second part was historically marginalized as much as possible to justify their entitlement.

The reason I say your question misses the point is that you wouldn't have a royal/member of the nobility be unkind like that in the first place. It connects the two to say that her kindness is related to her nobility. So your question doesn't come up in the first place. Sure, there have been some royals that were described as bad. But they're all background and mostly already dead. Even if they were major characters, they'd almost certainly be depicted as being unbefitting of their nobility because there are higher expectations of the nobility.

Let me ask this. Why does the old man care about her "real" name? Why is it specifically called out as her "real" name? Obviously it's her birth name, but why should that matter? Notice how he explicitly only prays for her after the reveal. What, does God only grant prayers if you use a birth name? It's giving subtext that this is her real identity, that her real identity is connected to her kindness and connected to her worthiness.

The start was good, but then it becomes stale because its dungeon clearing over and over again without any character development. It has RPG elements, but for some reason it only applies to the MC, which makes it impossible to gauge anyone's power level. After a 1/4 of the story, the Hunter or Guild organization becomes nothing, they just become peasants for MC to rescue, from there on they just sit back and watch MC defeat everything. The biggest problem is the MC, he has absolutely no personality, we don't know why he does things, were supposed to think"yes, he would do that because we know what kind of character he is", but no, we dont know, it just happens. We learn his goal is to save his mom, but she is never brought up ever again, just like most of the side characters, including the royal demon girl he saves by killing the demon king. There was so much potential if he would just interact with other characters, but no, he barely even interact with his own sister. Its literally an MC with no personality and a bunch of afk bots.

Later in the story they add anti-japan politics and the ending is one of the worst i have ever seen

She should use her god hacks to take back her kingdom. But no that's not what's gonna happen is it

I interpreted that scene completely differently. Right before it was the scene of her dying mother telling her that it doesn’t matter what she becomes in the future (like a princess or a maid for instance) but to become a kind person. Then she takes care of the dying prisoner who wants to pray for her out of gratitude for her kindness. Only after listening to her selfless wish, does he say god would like to make her wish come true and prays for god to grant her wish. The common theme here is kindness, not royal blood. If she were a cold and selfish person would the prisoner have prayed for her? Would she have been granted a wish solely for having royal blood?
