@Duainfey even our IRL world is very interesting if you're out looking for adventure. Natural disaster is pretty common, so you can follow the weather report for some survival vs nature. Accident and robbery happened frequently, just frequent area with high crime rate or high accident rate. You want to save the weak and ill? Come to the hospital. Looking for victim of crimes? Camp the police station in a big city. Regions that are war will have even more adventures, plus some occasional encounter with soldiers and guerilla to fight to the death!

The world always has a lot of adventures. The issue is whether you have the courage and the abilities to look for them and face them. People think that they're "trouble" and actively avoided them, that's why they led a boring life.

@kuzunagi13 listening to average levels of guards being around 7 or 9 while that monster was 19 makes me think that most people are far too weak to beat the monster which makes the item rare

welp.. 78% is not really rare if you look at percentage.. but if it was specifically dropped by a certain monster.. then it's a rare item..
but i guess the item works like this? normal > rare > epic > legend ??

@Qwaser5r you missed my point then, he may be a specific smith, with the skill needed to craft mc's item, but he is in the most obvious place to look for said person, to the point that hero party apparently got there first.

@Duainfey I disagree. The world is exactly this interesting. Most of it goes unnoticed but if we go by equivalents everything he has done is perfectly reasonable. Somewhere out there someone is suffering and you could save them if you knew how. Somewhere out there are rare and valuable objects which you could find if you knew where and what they are.

If you pay attention to the world around you, you will find all sorts of interesting things. Of course interesting or valuable of also relative so if your talking about magic swords its obvious you won't find them lying around in a world without that kind of magic. The shards of that broken shield he found valuable are a perfect example. He knew its worth and picked it up. Just like finding a piece of scrap on the side of the road and knowing its actually not garbage.

Anyway the world is exactly this interesting if not more so than shown. I mean he has a damn world book so if anything he should be seeing more than this. Worlds a big place.

If it hadn't been for the dwarf's injuries, I would have thought he fainted from forgetting to eat because of all the smithing.

Thugs more often than not at least own up to their own behaviours and not assuming the title and reputation of a hero with a fake front.

Unlike others I think I'm done with this. General monster guide, hidden treasures of the ages, power leveling were bad enough to me in the earlier chapters. Pushing into real time quest decisions is just bleh. The world is not that interesting.

Glanz is so much more heroic than the "supposedly-hero" who's more like a thug...
