Well 42.2Km is only the length of a normal marathon. Usually they are completed it in 2-4 hours depending on fitness level and natural talent.
There's a story about an elderly New Zealander who went to Australia and decided to run a two or three day race in his gum boots. he was running slower than the rest of the competition but when they retired in the night to sleep he just kept plodding onwards and set a record time taking hours off the course record.

may I introduce you to the wonderful world of ultramarathonners, or Ultras, basically any race longer than 42.195 kilometres (26.219 miles) which could include races as long as 1600 kilometre (1000 mile) and ran over a couple of days, on minimal sleep and stoppage time on very hostile terrain.

@icarushector I know, I just replied that she took the train back because the commenter overlooked that fact.

@FieryKathy she also said she ran from Hachioji to Tokyo tower, and while there is some give or take since we don't have a street address for her start or a specified route, Google maps gave a route that ran 48 km, more than a full marathon. She's still an absolute monster, even if she took the train home.

She beats Saitama's 10km per day maybe she's bald down there. . . . .
