@feha
He isn't really a merchant to begin with. If you remember, he just chose the crafting skills like cooking and apothecary so that no one would bother him. We never really see him do any deals. The only deal he really did was that request for the bow from the archery guild.

Definitely something being foreshadowed with the evacuation of fairies, the amount of deforestation , and now the increasing prices and shortages.

Thank you so much for keeping this series going. Its such a nice break from typical pace and the art style is too cute. Appreciate all the effort!

@feha It's not about affording them but considering if it's worth the price or not. He should have plenty of cash. And yeah the foreshadowing is huge here.

Bad game economy usualy leads people to stop playing and new players to not stay in the game which laeds to the game dying...

Feels like they are trying to foreshadow something with the increasing prices and shortages, but all I feel is that mc is a really really bad merchant, as despite being a craftsman making good weapons, can't afford a single weapon on the market. He would just need to sell one made with mundane materials, and he should afford it. And wasnt he good at cooking? He could sell that instead.

Lemme guess: bow recoil will come handy with aerial combos.

i love this story when he growing up little by little instead OP char

@Robbini at this point i'd imagine it would be stupid for the devs to not implement an event that triggers from an ecological genocide

@Wolvenworks

Even if they could, they would either have to have miraculous growth speeds for trees, be it effectively regeneration or time reversal with noone planting new and the old stumps regrowing, or if they somehow added in treeplanting, they would need miraculous growth as well, but not many would do it, and the stumps would need to be dealt with.

it seems that all the intentionally irreparable damage from logging is what i'd call bad game design. because like it or not, you can't teach complicated concepts like ecology and expect random pubbies to abide by it

A sudden rush harvest, closing of the Fairy Kingdom, jacking-up of material and weapon prices... this smell very strongly of War.

Its the same pattern as previous declarations of war. But its against the Fairy Kingdom? Doesn't make sense.
Avatar
gamers... always ruining it.
Avatar
@Vasqueztion I imagine if the fairy kingdom was destroyed, the fairies met with a genocide, and the queen appeared in front of the MC half dead, asking for help, he would kick her in the head, complaining about breaking the promise.
Avatar
wow, for a second I thought Bolsonaro had logged in

I am guess they are harvesting to much wood in the Fairy Country, so now the fairies are pissed and killing non-fairies. That would explain why they have to evacuate all the non-fairies.

Buy high sell low

seems like bubble incoming!

So wifey will be making a return soon. Hopefully he's forgiven the infraction; it wasn't entirely her fault to begin with.

I'm surprised that quests related to replanting the forest haven't started popping up.

Farming/cultivation skills would be handy, about now.
