To be fair, if Satoru lost once again it would just start getting annoying specially considering he never really faltered in terms of his actual motivations to box...and you know the series wouldn’t be able to pull off a bad-end.

I’m guessing this was axed, considering the amount of unresolved stuff and plotlines still left untouched. Sad, but predictable considering this manga always played it safe with the narrative.

Well of course it's gonna feel rushed or axed when you leave so many unanswered questions and unfinished plot lines. What's the point at hinting at anything if in the end you're just gonna go "LOL! Never mind!"

I guess it just really goes to show that your series has to get lucky or bring a lot to the table to avoid getting the axe. I guess the series just wasn't good enough sadly or maybe the reception of the latest arc was just THAT bad
