With this being on hiatus I forgot just how absurdly slow this manga moves. I guess it's not that different from many other isekai stories but god damn is it not annoying having four chapters of nothing but fluff.

This just reminded me that he kinda stole his

Nice one author ๐Ÿ˜†

Next up is an isekai where someone rolls their eyes at the MC jizzing over rice.

@welcome2atlantis no they were worried the MC would think about defecting if the kingdom just took everything without compensation for unjust treatment.
They were discussing how any kingdom would glady accept him with full benefits should he ever want to migrate.

They were forced to go into the dungeon with lack of prep and nearly lost their lives, and they could not say no.
So the concensus was they had to compensate them even if it were to drive the kingdom into near bankruptcy for the discovery rights, because the last thing the entire council wanted was a pissed off Pope, (which btw he is really really pissed off for almost losing his Granddaughter) and a pissed off magician which comes only once in a thousand years.

Was MC implying he was going to defect to a rival country..?
Avatar
@Voij I, for one, would defect immediately.

Armstrong is probably a defector from the Empire. Maybe the Empire is a Matriarchy full of Amazons, and men from there defect to avoid Death by Snu-Snu.

i stopped reading the novel a few arcs after this one, but i dont remember any mention of defecting people.

anyone who would care to spoil me as to what that reason is? assuming there is one ofc

They probably have real-life-catgirls in the other place, that's the easiest way to tempt people into defecting.
