@givemersspls i'm pretty sure they are hunting for sport. however, an inability to hunt may be indicative of yu not actually being of noble birth, or not being a real daughter of the xuanyuan family

@unime Sounds like they're part of a larger hunting party even if the other members aren't depicted. The maid talks about having to use an excuse, which wouldn't be necessary if it's just the four of them. They probably are bringing back the wild game to feed the clan.
