Scorpions have gaps in their armor... it's more about blowing out the fleshy bits under the armor is why its' effective... though there wouldn't be a hole where the armor is blown off and eviscerated into nothingness... it would more than likely just make flesh and blood fly out from the gaps as the insides are scrambled by compressed gas.
Though, jumping 5 meters into the air from a faceplant is a little much... especially landing with full weight towards the same target.

The difference between complaining about the art here and people complaining about the boobs in Level 99 Jester, is that in the latter they're complaining about something that is tied to the point of the story-- it's about short girls with big knockers.

Complaining about the art being bad in an action/harem manga and it not improving is not tied to the story's premise, it's complaining about its technical abilities.

I joined with FTH around Feb/March, my main job tho was communication with the readers on the website. You know, answering the 'when when when' questions...

I think they got surprised I stuck with it so long so they promoted me on the website chat system... LOL. and yes, I felt like a broken record 75% of the time.

So if you add FTH, it'd be another 3~ months, the milestone we celebrate tho is when LIG actually formed. I hadn't been with FTH for more than a couple months officially before they decided to disband :(

@mruggeri2 The Wasp Knife is an actual thing, it's mostly designed for divers (to make up for the difficulty of getting any good leverage while underwater). The injected CO2 causes rapid tissue expansion and freezing, so if you stab it into, say, the head of a shark, it can kill it almost instantly. Even if you don't get a vital point, it can make a serious wound. On the other hand, it's fairly unwieldy and super expensive, so it's not really used much in real life.

I guess in this specific instance you could say it's a combination of the scorpion having an exoskeleton so the pressure would be held in better, combined with "a wizard did it" for dramatic effect?

@siikalahna in this case the nobles do care about their own citizens, the elves, its just the eleven superiority stick has lodged so far up their asses it has pierced their brains. Basically when talking to a fellow elf these nobles are probably nice but any non-elves are irrationally hated.
