@Vegetablesucks Well that's exactly the problem though, it's a LN adaptation so it's just way too likely to go with the "fuck-you-go-read-the-source" cliffhanger ending. I couldn't think of a good stopping point for 12 episodes either but that doesn't usually stop them.

@Vegetablesucks Nn, I can't find anything about how many episodes there are supposed to be yet so I wouldn't expect it to get quite this far if they test the waters with a single 12 episode run first before committing to more seasons or such. I suppose they could just skip a ton of stuff though (see the Youjo Senki manga and anime adaptations for comparison).

I mean... kinda? She's dumb. They're both dumb. They're also both very strong, talented, and essentially royalty. So while it COULD be that she's emphasizing what she says, from what I recall (she doesn't get nearly enough focus in the ln, imo) it's just kind of a weird speech thing she does. Like -poi and such. I could be wrong about that part since I didn't (and can't) tl, but this is just coming from reading the whole work.

It could also be that this one actually IS 'fuck you' and the rest are just her being weird.
