It's so frustrating how the MCs in this stories are so stupid. " Hey I wonder what will happen if I act differently, Hey look the timeline changed, OH well lets continue thinking that that tragic thing is inevitable and that I can't change anything even if I managed to change things already" .... wtf how oblivious can you be ???? |

And I thought she fell for him. I know you are a 35 year old office lady inside (probably), but 22 should be not longer out of your comfort zone like the 12 year old boy from a decade ago. |

Well damn, I'm just here to enjoy the story and a bunch of you (the comments) are ranting about it huh? |

I come back to check the comments on the chapters after putting it on hold 'cause of all the pointless misunderstanding/lack of communication drama and you're telling me it's still going on?! And from what I've seen you guys saying, it hasn't even gone anywhere?! Well, back to having this on hold it seems. |

@moridin84 while most of what you said is true, it only apply to us; watchers with our asses on our seats looking from a bird eye's view and not from the point of view of an innocent boy who's still a bit naive at times who came back from 4 years of war to find his love demanding a divorce, also "a divorce doesn't benefit her at all" isn't necessarily true since let's say: maybe she got close to the other prince who's still single and maybe there are some plans to secure him as the successor or something and thus getting engaged to him would benefit her more (which isn't what's happening here of course but it could be within the realm of possibilities) |

Caesar seems like the idiot here. A divorce doesn't benefit her at all, while a divorce would allow him to get more useful marriage, even if Gracie isn't interested. You don't need to know the future, you just need to understand politics to know that. He shouldn't need to "wait for her" to explain herself. Just use logical reasoning. |

@Tabitha Well so far sitting around and doing nothing is exactly what the society she's in demands that she do. The fact that she gained control over the finances of the estate and has done an excellent job is possibly an example of her accidentally advancing women's liberation or one of the few avenues of power in that society. (Another side effect of that is she should know exactly how much money she's wasting and if "they" can afford it, so the Marie Antoinette remarks some have made are relatively unfounded until the royal family makes up lies that she's wasting money.) Boredom due to the extremely limited rights she has in her society is one of the more consistent complaints that she's had too, so it's not like she WANTS to be stuck doing useless things all day. Her main plan is even to GTFO so that she can actually do whatever she wants. One more thing to consider is that she's in a very precarious position. She's an underling of the empress whom wants the 1st prince in power (if im remembering it right? Was it the other way around and she's an underling of the mom who's pissed that Caesar isn't divorcing Canaria?), so he's shoving her in an extremely precarious position where both sides of the court are going to want her dead because he's dragging his feet long enough for them to notice from her perspective. I think she's at least a little irritated that he's fucking things up. I even suspect that the reason the 1st prince faction hasn't done anything to Canaria yet is because of her friendship with him. Having said all of that nonsense, you are right that she's gone a bit soft in the head compared to before. Canaria's appeal is that she's been able to use her wits to to get out of the situation as best she can and now we're stuck in a situation where her opinions or actions are considered meaningless. A good swerve might be if the empress suddenly noticed Canaria's "genius" (Caesar taking too long is making her look like a secret political mastermind), used the rumours to petition for a divorce and then tried to set Canaria up with the 1st prince as the rumours of them being in looove must be true. |

@davaling I am right there with you!!!!!! I get what everyone is I saying about how there could be consequences if he chooses her but it’s obvious that he is really against divorcing her. He clearly loves her so they can be able to talk things out. |

@RamenRider Whoops you're right, my bad! Still, coming from a modern world, it's funny that Canaria doesn't seem to have any awareness towards the society she currently lives in. Does she do anything useful in her days? We saw her go fishing once. I feel that she should have an urge to do something meaningful, whether it be studying, working, or helping other people. Just something. Or maybe it's just me, sorry but this shopping-filler ticks me off for whatever reason :D I don't know what she did in her previous life, but at the start of the story she did want to go back to her life and family, which implies that she did enjoy the modern world and the things she did then (be it work, hobbies, or both). I'm not mad at Canaria because she doesn't immediately respond to Cesar's feelings and shower him with love. Canaria could happily start dating with Gracie as well (I know it's not canon, the author won't go that way sadly), I think they'd make a great pair. Or she could marry no one, pull a Gandalf and return to her original life, whichever works with the story best. What I am annoyed about with Canaria is that she seemed so much smarter before, acting as a spy for the empress and whatnot, and these last chapters she seems to have thrown her brains away like a frisbee disc in the air, possibly for plot convenience. |

I'm not sure why Canaria is getting all the blame here when Caesar should have figured out that she's dense long ago and adapted to it. It's also a bit.. weird that Canaria's getting ragged on for not working on the relationship despite making bright neon lights about how she doesn't want anything to do with the damn marriage. Even her garbage family that doesn't even pay attention to her has picked up on the fact that she doesn't want the marriage in the first place. It just feels like it's a tidal wave of people completely ignoring what Canaria wants for the sake of their own desires which is how she ended up dead the first time around. @tabitha She's Korean. It's not much of a difference, but Korea at least understands how horrible overworking to death can be and is trying to stop doing so as a society/government. |

Canaria is cute and all, but I'm somehow a bit bothered, when she comes from such a working orieentered country as Japan, that she should be this keen on Cesar doing less work and taking whole days off of important work. Yes it's sweet that you're going shopping and dining etc. together. It's not so sweet that you're splurging the kingdom's money on something so frivolous. I'm getting some Marie Antoinette vibes here that I'd rather not. ๐

@amiradiana The reason why I personnally get frustrated over this is I dont feel like were going anywhere with the plot lately... its just been the same thing over and over for a few chapters now with no going forward whatsoever |

@lalahbloo It is not stupid cause their divorce is the king's wish, she is not sure about the ML's feelings, and she knows that for political reasons he should get married to the novel's heroine, he might even be risking his chances for the throne if he picks Canaria, all his and her hard work would be for naught. So, her ignoring her feelings is not really a wrong decision from her limited point of view. Everything is pointing towards her suffering a heartbreak if she chooses to accept him. And whether she does choose him or not, she can't change anything. Everything lies in the hands of the ML and the king and whatnot. Whether she loves him or not, she can't do anything to stay with him unless the ML chooses to do so. It's not that stupid since there is still a lot of reasons for the ML not to choose her. |

Canaria is most likely leaning towards ignoring her feelings, since that seems to be the easier thing to do. which is still stupid, i guess. |
