That's a second awakening, an established known but rare occurrence where people get a single leap from some rank to another due to some event, and then remain just as static as everyone else.

Thanks for the translate , great work

The fact that lion-guy has a special eye power hasn't been mentioned in the manhwa so far, I believe.

Kind of a leap in logic purely for an author ass-pull. The guild-lion should have assumed he was hiding his strength the other time, and is simply showing more of his real strength now, rather than jumping to the (officially speaking) impossible, although correct, conclusion that some hunters can grow in strength.

There was already the basis that he jumped from an E-rank. It's a logical judgement given that they know he's already changed once.

The flashback was a nice visual.

Thanks again!

@Dragen yeah, that other translation posted here on MD is way too bad. Still, I think JB's translation is the best so far, too bad they made too much drama for some AD pennies.

@Scrwd yeah, I think they mentioned in the past something about SS and SSS ranks, but because they can only measure up to A and anything above is just classified as 'S' then there are not many ways to measure the strenght between them. Even a direct fight would not be enough as a Mage SSS rank could probably lose to an Assassin S rank because of the matchup disvantages.

Thanks for the chapter XD

@GoblinGuy
His eye power doesn't work that way, you can't simply hide your power from it like this is an episode of Dragonball Z or something. What you see is what you get, at least with his eye ability.
