The story is waaaay to slow to cover everything, this manga will take Years to reach the novel, its not worth waiting this long since the novel is written very well and its alot more enjoyable then the manga. @Starbright He worked as a engineer , and hes not a teenager in his previous life, more like 30 or something. |

The man isn't really a spy though, he's a 'rat'. AKA a poor person part of an information 'network' of other poor people. Yeah they act to gather information but the concept of a trained spy doesn't exist. Essentially, nobles just pay poor people to talk about rumors they've heard to get information, and these networks are kinda controlled by kingpins of poor mobs who control the rats. They'll get into it more, but it isn't 'evil is ugly' trope for no reason. |

@Goldenzeal Ch 70-71 in the novel. Though in the novel it just skip to him ready to make a dash and board the merchant ship some times later after witnessing Roland working with the witches (obviously Lightning being one of the earliest to be noticed, cuz flying) It's not even Nightingale who caught him, just the militias. After the attempted food burning incident, Roland told long time residents that the Stronghold might try something again so keep an eye out and report any suspicious activities. That guy in the novel is the 4th to be caught tho, so this guy might be different person. |

@Angibot i dont think this guy was even a thing in the light novel, Timothy never actually knew for sure that Roland was working with the witches untill he was on the attack ... so yeah he is probablly dead soon 👺 then again i could be wrong its only like 1300 chapters or so since it happened in the light novel..... its pretty long as its super detailed about everything, but thats not bad 😎 or they just changed it in the manga for some reason.... would not be the first time 😱 |
