Of all of the mangaka's couples I think I like these two the most. They're so cute. Too bad it's been axed. |

After being axed like, 4 times, maybe the mangaka will finally tell a different story. |

Yeah, most of us, myself included have no idea what goes on inside the publisher/mangaka relationship but this just seems strange. Rough Sketch Senpai, Yuki to Sumi, now Futari no Jikan all axed when at least to us, the western audience, are great rom-coms with decent enough stories that you would normally see fleshed out and completed instead of axed ~20 chapters in. I'd love to hear details from anyone that knows the story of Onio and what's going on with his publisher(s) axing his series. Super disappointing. Edit: also wanted to mention that every time one of his series gets axed, it seems extremely abrupt, as in, other mangakas seem to have some form of forewarning and they get a few chapters to tidy things up and 'close' the story the best they can. It always feels like Onio is told right before he releases his next chapter and he has to rush to force an ending, which usually ends up being the worst chapters as far as plot, writing, etc. Almost as if you can see how bitter he is through the last chapter of whatever series he's working on. |

Really sad that the author didnt have the time to end it properly with a confession or anything to conclude that they go out together... |

Rip imouto (Did she ever make an appearance?) and Onio for 3rd consecutive axes. Clearly the formula that he is going for didn't click with Japanese audience because changing publishers are not the key. Maybe try for isekai manga adaptation? Though his artwork is unique if Gun Ota can do it I'm sure he can too. |
