Also, for all we know there's no actual "catfolk" race, with cat-people like Shironeko being to the "beastman" race the equivalent of Arlong being a sawtooth shark-type Fishman among his race in the One Piece world, i.e. it's all up to individual genetics (which may skip generations). In other words, she could very well be born to a dog-man father and a cow-girl mother, if the Beastmen's genetics work like One Piece Fishmen's genetics.

That much is true, a few scanlation groups have been hoarding series and drip feeding releases of those. Not that they're obligated to release them on a schedule or something, but sometimes there are other groups willing to take up on some of those series and they don't because it's not proper etiquette to do so, which leads to a situation where a series stays without a new chapter for months, and very behind the raws. Those complaining about snipes should understand that it would not be an issue if groups hoarding series (and drip feeding releases) was not a thing, and it's mainly the 'for profit' groups that usually have a patreon or similar who do hoard series in the first place. Not that they can't do it, just they should handle the whole thing better in the first place and drop the series they don't find to be worth scanlating.

I'm sure none of us want to wait for CAT Scans's slow releases, especially since they seem to have been waiting for someone to pick it up so they can upload another chapter and try and get more views. It looks like they already had chapter 6 finished since they were able to upload it just a couple hours after you did.
