So... the bow suddenly became a double limb bow because more power was put into it? Will it eventually become a quadruple limb bow or even more? At that point it should just be called a star bow.

Îs the crappiest arc în the history of manga over?

@APersonOnAComp I saw that someone mentioned "Only Sense Online", but I would also like to add "Wizard With the Flower Blades". It is similar but an original story from a translator, quite good if not better, and with just as strong a focus on crafting.

I get the philosophy behind the disqualification and I expected him to lose the first time around. Still, it does feel unjust. I want him to return to Queen tho. I am extremely worried about that war part we saw some time ago and I don't want any of it.
Avatar
The logic behind the disqualification was pretty wonky. The guy clearly said that they are "testing their merit", but then ended up saying something equivalent to "It is your fault that I am murdering you."
How does that make any sense? They wanted to see if someone would function as a splendid soldier, that's willing to act on self-sacrifice to achieve a goal. The MC qualify on all of that, yet he was still disqualified because "but dying means you're a failure". What is self-sacrifice, then?

It was fine up until the guy said that "we're merely testing how strong you are, and you fell, so tough luck" -- which is fine. That makes sense. But don't go around spewing bullshit about "the strong survive, if you fall it means you're a loser" -- when it can very easily mean the opposite. The survivors are the cowards, and those who died tried the hardest to contribute.

LOOOOOOOONG LOOOOOONG MAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!
Avatar
So is the loong arc over now?
Avatar
@kwendy I guess looking at it like that it does have some value.
Avatar
That was a loong arc.
...
I’ll see myself out.

Loong dragon is loong.

@WillLi For him it was irrelevant, the point was the lesson for his companion. If battle was won flawlessly it would not have become scar of humility.
Basically it was all character development for secondary episodic characrter.

@Ovnidemon
Ch.31, p.9(8) - after defeating the green dragon.

When di he receive that bow? I don't remember it.
Avatar
@HaikenEdge He's failed at a lot of things, he usually dies to bring down the boss too, he completely destroyed himself and his gear to take down the Green Dragon for instance.

@amamiya426 This is just me spitballing here, but it could be a duality of spirit and body thing. Like, before they ascend they have the spirit of the Long within them, represented by the horns, but after they ascend they relinquish their terrestrial body and become more spirit than physical. Essentially they would at that point be able to fully take a Long or Human form and not need an incomplete form with horns.
Just a theory though.
Avatar
I just realized ascended longs lose their horns in their human form.
I wonder if there's any deep meaning to it.

Best girl left๐Ÿ˜ญ, pls tell me she comes back

@Kisato OnlySenseOnline is too convulated for my taste, OssanVrmmo is much more chill and the MC is better.
Avatar
Isn't this the first time he's failed at anything (besides getting a fairy, which he got anyways with the chocobo)?
Avatar
I was so sure he'd do the same he did in the fairy kingdom and just go and leave without ever caring again about those he met before.
