I was expecting the MC to use his connection to Eliza, but I'm glad he didn't.
Eliza is here to save the day!

eliza is so cute!

lol it was because of his daughter

@boag She's pretty good for an Isekai, overall, both are pretty low brow. Quinella isn't deep but her character has everything it needs, backstory, motivation, personality, etc.

And yes, she'd make a fantastic onahole~

@Centurionzo
Its his daughter, Eliza

@ChronicleKey
@gaigous

The main difference is that one is a well developed, well crafted character, the other is just an onahole stuck in another shitty SAO novel.
Avatar
@ChronicleKey The hair color maybe, otherwise Quinella is in another dimension of hotness.

@Kaarme
at least this works splendidly to bring the MC and Eliza closer together

heck yeah dude. the sent cringey-ass love letters have been paid off pretty nicely

I can't hide the feeling that Eliza looks like Quinella from SAO.

@GridLite If nothing else, at least this works splendidly to bring the MC and Eliza closer together. It's a good thing for the balance she could help him a big time. Maybe it would have been better is she hadn't needed to be a deus ex machina, but he had actually asked for her help.
Avatar
@Kaarme yeah sure. i didn't ask but thanks for the explanations anyway, i guess.
what the MC feared, suddenly losing their lands
MC had a panic and anxiety attack lmao but at least it all comes down to eliza herself since she's his deus ex machina ???

Every time I read this I get angry. The MC goes and insults a noble without thinking there might be repercussions. I mean you're suppose to be intelligent. Shouldn't you think things through before you start a fight? Perhaps question your father on the exact position between him and his acquaintance? Nope, lets just jump in with "fat pig" and see how things pan out.

Then he immediately backs down to the threat of Dovil. COME ON! If you are going to have a spine, don't lose it immediately. He threatens you with Dovil, you threaten him back with the Prince. The Prince is your friend and a higher power, nope lets just flop around like a goldfish because I didn't plan anything out in the first place. But lucky for him he has MC powers and gets bailed out by the girl he constantly says "I don't like", but according to novel readers he really loves even though it isn't conveyed in the manga at all.

Hell there's probably a ton of crap in this chapter that was skipped over since it sure as hell doesn't make sense that you wouldn't be able to formulate some sort of plan during the time period between when the pig leaves to get Dovil and the time it takes for him to return. It's not like they have cars in that era. Travel back and forth between territories takes time and they aren't next door neighbors. Nope, this story immediately jumps to Dovil being there like it's the same day and no planning or attitude adjustment occurs during the intervening period.

"Why don't you just drop it" I'm sure most of you reading this are thinking. Mostly because I want to see if it actually gets better. So many of the novel readers seem to be okay with the inconsistent writing of the manga that there has to be something else holding it up or at least a destination that isn't as bad as the origin. At least it isn't complete shit like Butsuri-san.

@noobtube2 @GridLite Nobles should be able to remain cool and appear dignified and powerful, not show weakness. Although appearing very aggressive and wrathful would also serve its purpose occasionally, to intimidate someone. It's a part of the bigger play before armies clash. If you act weak, you will be exploited. I'd say the MC was far more worried than he should have been. It would be a big problem for a minister, in practice using the king's authority, to arbitrarily take the lands away from a random noble in favour of another noble. That would create a precedent that would destabilise the whole country. No noble after that could be certain they wouldn't be the next. They would quickly form an allied resistance against the king, which would be a disaster for the whole country and make it very susceptible to foreign interference.

All in all what the MC feared, suddenly losing their lands, would only work if all the rest of the nobles in the country were convinced it was for a good reason. In this case, impossible. However, if it was just an armed conflict between two nobles, it's a different thing. It's all fair and square. Still, it would mean less tax money and damage to the economy (except for weaponsmiths), so it's understandable the minister wouldn't prefer it.
