I like this arc and you're a stick in the mud, @fredfriendly. at least two series I follow that you still read(one you translate!) that you actively dislike now but continue with anyways, I have to wonder why you bother.

I can certainly understand. I stopped "reading" it myself. It's now up to chapter 202 on comicojp and apparently this ridiculous drama with Tendou is still going on. And, of course, the situation with Ai and the Creep are also not resolved.

@HammerU89 Hi! The hearts did not decrease by half. It's just that the chapters before, during, and after Yuu and Tsubasa got together got more than 1 million likes. The hearts for this arc are pretty similar to the ones before and after that, I think that pretty much represents the actual readers, those who actually follow the story. I mean, it's understandable since everyone wanted to see these two lovely dovey. However, I do think this arc is receiving good reception to the Japanese readers, too.

Personally, I enjoy this arc because I started understanding Tendou and why she thinks the way she does, like there is no goodness in people at all. I used to dislike her a lot but I started liking her because of this arc. :)

I think the author is taking his/her time with this arc because after this, the only obstacle or issue is Ai-chan. I think that arc would pretty much tie up the end.

I really miss this story, please 🙏 update soon.

Jokes aside, the author decided he would like to go with this plot line, probably because he ran out of ideas on the other ones, and wants to take his time to work on it. Or who knows for what reason. Either way, if you dont like it, dont read it, it's that simple.

You know the saying, there are two kind of people, the ones who run through a game's main plotline, and the guys who try to find every hidden plotline they can with the side characters. :-) I'm from the latter, so Im enjoying this.

Tsubasa and Yuu are mentioned in the series description, but I just can't find any mention of Tendou or Tachibana or their extended backstory . According to the description, this is supposed to be a story about Tsubasa and Yuu but it seems like the author might have decided that they were the wrong protagonists and has changed the main characters to people who are not as likeable. We have already gotten far more backstory about Tendou than either of the previous main characters. This is just stupid. I keep "reading" this on comicojp hoping that this obsession with Tendou will finally be over but, as of the latest chapter, 186, it just keeps grinding on and on and on.

Lel, so we are only allowed to have 1 mc and 1 fmc now. What a time to live in.

What I love in this series the most is the nuanced characterisation. And we still have it, although with different characters. I'm good.

It’s a great arc and all but I wish these would be side episodes (although I also realize it would hard to keep up with the demand) that we’re released along or at a later time from the main story. She’s not the central character, so I frankly don’t care too much for this and I miss our mains :(

This is way too much backstory for a general side character.
