While I like overall the ideas and themes of this manga I'm sincerely starting to think that the author is really bad at writing stories. |

Does anyone know any accounts in manga where a woman displayed a similar expression to this? Yes, I am asking this as a serious question, as a way of being snide, and to suggest that Seiji's gender affects our perception on his character. Aside from how gender affects our opinion, I would like to comment on the way his love is being portrayed. Seiji's decision to keep his love a secret because he thinks that Gin would avoid him causes his love to turn towards obsession. He begins to think that Gin will one day accept his feelings and be his. I probably do not need to say that this is not healthy. Due to holding this belief, Seiji begins to see object to have instead of a person to share mutual feelings with. With this in mind, his breakdown due to the thought of losing Gin suggests an emotional dependency for Gin. In his breakdown, Seiji digs his nails into himself which is interesting because he seems to have know that Gin has been dressing in drag, and his thoughts suggest he would take his emotions out on others. While he has malicious thoughts, he chooses to harm himself as he cries over the distance he feels from Gin. Even if Gin had told Seiji about what has been happening recently, it would not change any of the issues Seiji has. It makes me sad to see someone cause themself so much harm, and, seeing how things are going, he will probably do something stupid pushing Gin away from him only making me sadder. |

I legit think this is the first time I've ever seen a gay yandere in a manga. This manga just breaking all sorts of barriers! |

@JaneJeon It is usually used as a mark of death. Other types of symbols I've seen are transformations or changes. I'm taking an interpretation that sinceramente it's a dark one, and with a lot of details, it may mean a rotten butterfly, considering he is a butterfly (pretty), someone you would expect good things, he shows a rotten and sick side, he reveals himself as someone ugly. Maybe I'm just overthinking tho |
