Hotaru is clearly very worried about not making him jealous. I know this is a shoujo and all, but it sure seems like a horror story waiting to happen!

Hananoi can be pretty "heavy" has he puts it, but I'm glad he's acknowledged that it's not exactly normal to act the way he as been.

Hahah, I tell myself that if I take this manga too seriously I lose, rather, I should read it while enjoying the fact that we have a rare yandere boyfriend (but hoping that at the end, there'll be some kind of chara development)

And up to now, I really hope the new guy will be a "brother figure" rather than be interested in our little protag that's too scared to love seriously...

@FredFriendly Hotaru's flashback even showed how he was afraid of people leaving him, and not trusting her from the very beginning when she says she's okay is still a lack of trust unfortunately. And yeah he totally is a yandere I never really liked that kind of thing

Seems to me that it's not a case of Hananoi not trusting Hotaru, but rather that he doesn't trust other guys who get close to her. As far as Hananoi being creepy, well, he is a yandere, after all.

C'mon new dude hasn't done anything wrong so far, seems like in the past girls hated Hotaru for being close to him and cut her hair without him knowing anything (as suggested when he commented on her suddenly getting short hair).

It only took 10 chapters until an annoying 3rd wheel appears. And, of course, it just has to be one of Hotaru's old classmates. It sure looks like he's going to try to split up Hananoi and Hotaru. There'll probably be something in Hananoi's past that he'll remember and use to try to cause Hotaru to be afraid of Hananoi.

There was one thing I am a bit unsure of. When Hotaru said, "I think I know why I couldn't tell Hananoi-kun I liked him," was she admitting that she had actually liked the 3rd wheel and lied to Hananoi, or was she referring to Hananoi, himself? It seems a bit ambiguous, particularly after her dream.

I'm praying the author solved this arc swiftly and smoothly, tyyyy!

New dude seems alright for now. He doesn't seem to be giving off rival vibes and that's a plus.

Hotaru might be unsure about love, but she's the only character looking around & trying to figure out what's what & preparing herself to adapt to whatever she discovers. Hananoi's thinking is in a rut, & in that respect, he's not worthy of Hotaru right now, imo.
