Man I really like this manga. I don't really know how to describe it, but it feels really high-quality to me somehow.

Great chapter! Just curious, are the translations caught up to the manga?

@alexsilener A lot of people enjoy trying to predict the way stories will progress

It’s finally back, and a good chapter as usual.

Wonder how he parents know each other though.

@HOOfan_1 It seemed to me more that the MC concerned himself with who was "weak" and "strong" rather than the "right and wrong" in the conflict. His dad was falsely accused, but he still took his own life. So while it might not be clear whether he was just or corrupt, he was definitely weak. MC's own guilt in hurting his father (which he might think drove his dad further to the choice) could result in him trying to protect the weak, whoever that is in a situation, either the bully or the victim. If this is the case, it's a bit stupid (hence why I called it that), but understandable.

Also, who should his Dad have fought back? Only his cowardly self I think. He must have fought the accusers and the accusations in some capacity, otherwise he wouldn't have been cleared of suspicion in the first place.

Regarding the love triangle (which I don't think is the case btw), it'll be explained in the coming chapters anyway so no point in thinking too deep about that. Still, I don't think there was ever an affair, or a framing. They could just have been political partners, and Awayuki's dad just didn't come to help MC's dad when he was in trouble.

@alexsilener Seems all the more reason for him to have sided with Awayuki. His dad was bullied into committing suicide. If he fought back, then maybe he would still be alive. Awayuki was being bullied and fought back. What's the difference between the victim fighting back and someone else fighting back for them? He admitted Awayuki was in the right when she fought back against the bullies, but he confronted her anyway, meaning he was basically becoming a bully too.

As for his mom, I bet she and Awayuki's dad had a similar relationship in school. Enemies who became lovers, but Seita's mom married his dad instead. I'm not sure Awayuki's dad framed Seita's dad, but I bet Seita's mom went to him to help clear his name and he refused to help.

well, I guess that kind of explains the mc's actions protecting the bully in the first chapter and his "ally of the weak" cliche. It still is stupid tho

I forgot about this little gem. Glad to see it back.

I hope the mom had not a affair with the dad from the fmc ... i don’t wasn’t in the end of the story that they are siblings....and pls the mother should be pure.... thanks for your work is this a month manga ?

@riku_93

I thought it too for a hot second.

@mizie

And you can just imagine how it’ll effect these two “love birds”.

I think I read too many ntr doujins that I immediately thought that the mother was having an affair or something with the gf's dad, lol.
Avatar
@mizie yeah was thinking the same, or perhaps he is the dad and the mother is lying to him.

Dad is the mastermind who framed mc dad.
