I hope the ending is like him thinking of all the good times he spent with humanity whilst he destroys it. The comic isn't very serious so it'd be kinda edgy and funny if he really is that super-evil whilst in his ON mode.

Interesting, this might be the first time he's flinched on Humanity Will Obviously Still Perish. Even the two lil' kid rangers(?) didn't manage it...
