@Shewy92 No, I am confused by the almost immediate extreme and exaggerated knee-jerk reaction people often have to a person with a scary face/expression. Especially if the person is not actually DOING anything scary at the time. I have literally had people avoid me on the street or even turn and quickly go the other way when seeing me, when I was just wearing my normal resting face. And it's even more exaggerated in manga and anime and such. Assumptions bred from shallow ignorance hurt.

So you are confused as to why someone is scared by someone who looks scary?

I will never understand this reaction to "people with scary/intimidating faces". They INSTANTLY assume the person is terrifying just because of how their facial expressions are structured. I should know, I have always had a scary face, and I've been treated like that more than once.
