FWIW, the chapter presented as #35 here was #34 in the books. Don't know why. Perhaps a chapter was removed from the tankobon version?

EDIT: Reason discovered. Chapter 7 from the magazines was never published in the tankobon volumes.

Yakushimaru is so cute and/or pretty thanks to the artstyle that I can almost forgive her actions (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

I used to be the same, because I was thinking only from my own perspective... but now it's kinda sad to me when people get pissy at scanlators for not getting chapters out more quickly.

Aside from the fact that it's basically "You were under no obligation to be thoughtful and give me the gift of your time and caring, but I'm mad you didn't give it sooner" -- if it takes longer than we'd like, it's generally because their time is at a premium (work, school, personal, life issues). When someone's time is limited but they still give it to us anyway, it's an even greater gift.

tl;dr: Thank you very much, Biamam. You're the real MVP.

8 months since the last chapter and this girl is still a pain

Oh thank the heavens this is updated. Hopefully 30 chapters being scanlated will pass by like a breeze

As Yakushimaru's and Hiro's relationship is still at its more edgy point. I kinda feel for Hiro and all the hoops he has to jump for just to please this girl. Even when apologizin she gives him the silent treatment.Thats cold. But personally I chock that to her familal situation making her more emotional vulnerable and more reactive to situations than Hiro expected.

Hopefully there'll be a bright spot soon.

That Yakishimaru is shitty and not worth the trouble is something that we already knew very early.
BTW, thanks Biamam for the chapter but still, this series as a whole also don't look like worth the trouble...

I second this! Scanlators rarely seem to get the thanks they deserve. And I appreciate that they haven't abandoned the project.

As for Yakushimaru and Hiro, I agree that he should not have been the one to apologize, regardless of the reason she slapped him. I suspect that her reason was not so much that he was singing that specific song, but that he was singing a song (it could have been any song) with another girl and not her. If she was his girlfriend, then that might have been a reasonable response, but they are just friends and friends don't go around slapping each other like that. I'm sure that Yakushimaru has been heavily influenced by her mom's man-hating attitude.

Well, there's 29 more chapters to go, so Yakushimaru should have plenty of time to clean up her act.

Man, Yakushimaru is so damn difficult for no good reason. It's almost inexcusable to by her being a teenage girl, given that almost all teenagers are irredeemably retarded. Her mother doesn't seem to be helping matters. Sonoko was right about her last chapter.
It annoys me that Hiro was the one that had to go and apologize first, or at all for that matter, when she was the one that got mad all on her own, started to avoid him all on her own, and is still needlessly prolonging this drama all on her own.
She's cute and all, but not worth the trouble at this point. Maybe she'll get a serious romantic rival and be forced to clean up her act somewhere down the line, but that's such a tired cliche that I'd rather not rely on it if we can help it.
