@momerathe Something bad happened in the original timeline but the webcomic is actually an AU where Li Xian Yun got transmigrated, somehow replacing the original Dongfang Xian Yun. In the new timeline Pigsy is reborn, he went back in time after dying in the original timeline. Also, "heaven" is meddling in everything, forcing people to stick to the (tragic) plot even when they don't want to.

I have to say, I've completely lost track of what's going on...

It would be funny if Xian Tian get swapped with the previous heavenly messenger who was Dong Fang Xian Yun's wife (even though he is gay). MC is the heaven's chosen one so she will likely take him as her husband anyway
