Well, there are 2 sides of the coin.
Lorem was an orphan and was actually persecuted just for being a demon when she was still a child.
So what should she have done?
She needed enough food to live and also to help her little sister at the time.
But she could not work anywhere as the humans would always attack her just for being a demon.

So if there would have been a place that would have given her a fair chance to work instead of hunting her immediately upon sight when she was still a little child then Lorem might not have grown up to live only by plundering and destruction.
If there was anyone who accepted her then she might have turned into a respectable and friendly person like she is now.

The best evidence is that she HAS changed after meeting that person who accepted her and even had a child with him.
So can you really say that it is only her fault?

I don't think so.
If that was a real situation then upon this fact she might have been given a judgement to have a hard trial to get the certificate but she would not have been outright denied to get one like it is suggested in this manga.

I actually quite like it. Lorem actually deserve to be punished for what she have done. Author is actually being realistic in terms of action and consequences. Nicely done.

Always feels good when the wholesome gets grounded in real pain.

It really could be either, honestly. Both have sleeveless shirts which is quite the coincidence. The horns both have a slight angle backwards. Similar hair. The only difference is that Gospel's wings and tail are always drawn white where this guys were grey.

@Meridis ya i think that has to be the dad, given the context, cuz there had to be one. It would be sad if he is dead, but that would be better than he having abandoning them
