Other country princess is the only smart one, the guys are too bent out about revenge that they broke the bank with building an army.

Woah, I kinda felt sleepy and almost cried reading those lyrics, the magic of manga!

And thus enter the loli.

@Red_Joker agreed. I'm really glad the author doesn't include things like simple / cheap reaction images or chibi drawings of the characters when they act cheeky / funny. It's really nice to see a series where the great art style and awesome character designs are not only consistent but executed in every single panel. It's a really high quality series with tons of passion infused into every single spot.

this manga is so cute ?

Just wondering does anyone have the announcment for joining smash go through their heads, though in this case it is joining the harem when they see a character that they just know is going to fall for the MC

Translation error: It's not "King" for Amidonia. They're a principality, and they are led by a Prince, since they lost half their territory and felt they could not call themselves a kingdom.

Oh dear, he offended the 3 dukes when he didn't hold some bogus ceremony to kiss their asses and instead worked hard to save the kingdom

He should have summoned the dukes to the capital during the first days of rulership, not just sent them letters. Mistrust due to misinformation will be the cause of the rebellion.

@Red_Joker This manga visual style better than LN version. LN character design looks more fitted for modern high school romcom setting than medieval western fantasy.

Lion King does have a point. Firing huge parts of the noble bureaucracy in such a short time is not a good idea.
Post-Saddam the US fired nearly all Ba'ath party members... which backfired in the form of ISIS.

Hope he kills them all death penality is a thing in japan

@CrimsonDev
The rebelling feels idiotic...hell most of the politicians/people of authority in that world feel braindead...

Well, then it's not too far from reality...
Between the 16th and 17th century, there was a bunch of dumb rulers in Europe. That often happens when the position is inherited regardless of talent, passion or interest. Especially after years of inbreeding to keep the blood "pure".

You can't really apply our modern sensibilities to feudal societies.
Hindsight is 20/20, that's probably why the policies of Souma are actually effective.

If you’re really that impatient, I seriously suggest reading the light novel.

J-novel.club licensed it, cheap at $4.95a month where you get to read dozens of chapters a week as they are released (and you can give feedback on wording/proofing). The novel is up to volume 6 currently and a craptonne ahead of the manga.

Hell, $11.95 and you get a monthly download credit without dmca limitations... (but they do tag your email in your copy for tracking).

They’ve got smartphone in another world, new life (the one that the author had his anime canceled due to Chinese backers) and many others. It’s well worth the cost for either.

Next week volume 7 starts...

But I can agree with you, especially after reading the LN, the manga feels like it’s slower than a snail in molasses at the South Pole in January...

@seekermoc - It's a monthly series, it can't update more often than that.

@DeadGuyKai
If you put it in that perspective, it makes more sense. Thanks!

@Vasqueztion

The lion is the animal symbol for England, whose patron saint is St. George, so it doesn't seem strange to me.
