These isekais like water pumps. Weren't basic hand pumps used by ancient Romans and Chinese? Maybe a villagers in middle of nowhere might not have seen one before. Or the isekai people followed a different tech tree 🤠

@Izayoi98 The single wheeled one maneuvers a whole lot better, plus the requirements for the path are much lesser: A foot wide path is already plenty, which also means you can cross ditches just by throwing some plank over it. For a grown person it's not much to handle it if you don't get greedy with the load.
