Double page is such cancer

Glad how the manga stay true down to the novels, even minor details.

Man, he sure just jumped straight into being the girl's 'parent', without any hesitation.
Oh well, I guess it's more annoying if the MC keeps fumbling around the point, when they're clearly the best guardian at that point in time.

Actually, no, disregard. He totally looks like a creep with the kid, and the world isn't full of irredeemable people yet. It doesn't really look like demons are sworn enemies either. The kid wasn't quite in a 'dangerous if not protected' stage, so it's hard to get used to.
